Biography
Ariana Colletti is a Nashville based artist and songwriter who captures the fragile distance between vulnerability and self-assurance. Originally from San Francisco, California, and growing up in Texas, Ariana has been writing music since she was 14 years old. Songwriting became an outlet for anxious thoughts and gave her a way to feel heard. She wanted to say the things that she felt people never understood about her, and use that to find those who do. She has gone through a journey of self discovery through releasing music and finding her sound over the years. With each new release, she feels like she finds herself as a musician more and more. Now, with a growing catalog of emotionally honest music, Ariana is stepping into a new chapter and connecting with wider audiences through songs that combine raw feeling with polished storytelling and a production style that balances her modern and classic musical influences.
As both a songwriter and artist, her songs are deeply personal yet resonate with audiences of many walks of life. Her ability to capture an intimate, raw feeling and deliver it with authenticity and powerful vocals is exemplified in her single, 6am. Her single, Don’t mess it up, is an energetic and confident track that features pop-rock elements. It’s equal parts warning and invitation, pairing confident, tongue-in-cheek lyricism with an undercurrent of vulnerability that has become Ariana’s signature. Ariana has just released another single, tornado, which tells an emotional story about letting someone in and believing they're good for you, but they end up turning your world upside down and then leaving without a trace. Sometimes you only start to see things for what they are once everything comes crashing down, and Ariana touches on that throughout the track. With a reference to the sky turning yellow before a tornado, there are lots of deep imagery lyrics that pair with a building production that bring you on a whirlwind of a journey, sucking you into the tornado. With each release, she continues to develop a style that feels both intimate and expansive, equally suited for late-night drives and live stages.
Ariana has performed at writers rounds, coffee shops, festivals, and venues including House of Blues Dallas, and Nashville's The Cobra and a headline show at The End. She just recently graduated from Belmont University where she spent a semester in New York City. As she continues to evolve as both an artist and performer, Ariana invites listeners to follow along on her journey through her music and social platforms.
